According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2026, to the 5300 block of N. Detonti Road after receiving a report of a large fight involving an injured juvenile.

The injured juvenile was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities have confirmed that an arrest has been made in connection with the incident. However, the investigation remains ongoing, and officials have not yet released additional information about what led to the confrontation or the circumstances surrounding Gunner’s death.
